How to take screen shots in Phones and Windows












Sometimes you need to take screen shot from your smart phone but some people don't know how to take screen shot


In this post you will come to know how to take screen shot




  • iPhone / iPad


Press the Home key at the same time as the Lock or Power button. You’ll see a flash effect and hear the shutter sound. Done. To access the captured image, open up your camera or photo app, and you’ll see the screenshot in your camera roll.


  • Android

On newer models running Android 4.0 or later, hit the Power button and the Volume Down button for a few seconds. You’ll be able to find the captured image in your camera roll, just as if you had taken a regular picture.



  • HTC

Press and hold the power button and then press the Home button

The power button is on the top of the phone and the Home button is the middle touch sensitive button at the bottom of the screen.


With this method the screen will flash and you’ll hear a sound to indicate that you’ve captured the screenshot. The screenshot will appear in your standard Gallery app along with your other photos.

 

  • Sony Xperia Smart Phones

  1. To make a screenshot

  2. Press and hold both the Power key and the Volume down key for 2 seconds to make a screenshot.
  3. To view your screenshot, open the notification panel and tap the screenshot you captured.



 


  •  Q-Mobile (Pakistani Brand)

On newer models running Android 4.0 or later, hit the Power button and the Volume Down button for a few seconds. You’ll be able to find the captured image in your camera roll, just as if you had taken a regular picture.


  • Windows

 Press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. This will capture an image of your entire screen and copy it to the clipboard. The dimensions of the image will be the same as your Desktop Resolution


* The "Print Screen" button may be labeled "PrtScn", "Prnt Scrn", "Print Scr", or something similar. On most keyboards, the button is usually found between the "F12" and "Scroll Lock" keys. On laptop keyboards, you may have to press the "Fn" or "Function" key to access "Print Screen".
You will not receive any confirmation that the screenshot has been taken.

*Now save your picture using MS Paint ,Photoshop or anything else
  •    In MS-Paint Just Press CTRL + V
  •    In Photoshop Open a New Layer and Press CTRL+ V

Save a full-screen screenshot . Pressing the Windows key + Print Screen will save a full-screen screenshot directly to a file, without having to paste it into another program first. The file is saved to the Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder.

  • The picture is saved in PNG format.
  • Screenshots are automatically labeled "Screenshot",  with a number.
